BVS Fountain is one of the few artistic fountains built after 1990. Its limited scale reflects a period during which insufficient funds were available for sculptural projects, fountains, or monumental works.
It is located in the immediate vicinity of the building of the Bratislava Water Management Company (BVS), to which it belongs, and is accessible from the street via a short wooden walkway embedded into the lawn.
The fountain basin, formed of a concrete square with a groove around its perimeter, is partially recessed into the ground.
In its transverse axis, it features a small water basin in which, as on the pedestal, there is an abstract metal structure with dynamic spiral shapes.
The fountain is primarily a decorative feature that enlivens the environment. The area around the basin is paved with roughly finished irregular stone slabs that are contrast starkly with the subtlety of the other forms. A nearby relaxation area offers simple concrete benches with wooden seats.
