Girl With a Book

The larger-than-life statue depicts a girl in a summer dress holding a book to her chest with her right hand as she sits on a stylised pedestal. 

Period works with similar themes and depictions can be found in other parts of Bratislava (and former Czechoslovakia), especially near schools. The statue in Dúbravka stands on a low rectangular concrete slab on a pedestrian path that leads to a park and nearby primary and secondary schools.
