Three commemorative plaques are mounted at ground floor level on the façade of the building at 36 Dunajská Street: Federation of Workers' Physical Education Units, Constituent Congress of Young Communist Workers, and the Napred (Forward) Association.
The building was constructed in the 1920s. At the constituent congress of the Union of Young Communist Workers of Slovakia, held there on 5 September 1920, a call was made to establish a communist party. This is commemorated by a plaque set centrally between the two entrances. The plaque was created by the renowned Slovak sculptor L. Snopek, and is designed similarly to an adjacent one dedicated to the physical education association – a vertically oriented rectangle with a profiled frame. It is divided into two parts. The upper area features a figurative scene. An elderly man, depicted in profile to the right, welcomes a delegation of young people. He shakes hands with a man and a woman, both shown in profile, with the man in the foreground. To their left, a boy holds a flag, and in the background a garland hangs above their heads.
The lower area features the inscription:
IN THIS HOUSE
TOOK PLACE

OF THE UNION OF YOUNG
COMMUNIST
WORKERS
OF SLOVAKIA
Below the inscription are two linden branches with a five-pointed star centrally above them.
