A set of three abstract objects is located in front of an apartment building on Drotárska Cesta. They were created as an aesthetic and artistic enhancement to the forecourt of the apartment building, and also serve as its emblem. With their striking verticality, they resemble totem poles.
Located in front of the individual entrances, these three objects vary in their artistic design. At present, however, they are neither clearly visible nor easily accessible due to overgrown vegetation.
The architect of the residential complex to which they belong is Manol Kančev, who frequently collaborated with the artist M. Šimurda, including on the boarding school for hearing-impaired children that is located across the street.
The third object in this set is mounted on a concrete pedestal in front of entrance No. 37. In a space covered with greenery, it stands out due to its striking colours, created by rich and vibrant glass mosaic squares. The sides of this horizontally conceived object are distinguished by the sections cut from its structure. The work as a whole evokes a paper cutout transferred from the picture plane to three-dimensional space. The artist's sensibility as a painter is thereby reflected within his work in sculptural art.
Particularly eye-catching is the glass mosaic surface in shades of red, orange, and blue. The individual mosaic squares are arranged in two ways: firstly, in regular rectangular rows, and then in dynamically curving lines. Sintered mosaic tiles measuring 20 × 20 mm were used.
