Two reliefs depicting children's games are set into the window sill of the first floor at the entrance to the apartment building on Karadžičova Street. They were created by L. Ľ. Pollák, a renowned Slovak sculptor, monumentalist, and restorer.
Reliefs on the façades of buildings constructed in the 1950s and 1960s generally depicted themes related to the creation of a new socialist society or a contented life and "bright" future in the new society.
Pollák's reliefs belong to the second of these groups. The theme of the figurative scenes is children's games. On the northern window sill, the main figure is a girl standing centrally, her body en face and head in left profile. She is wearing an above-the-knee dress, and with raised hands is stretching a scarf behind her head.
There are three figures to the north of her and three figures to the south of her. In the northern group, a boy sitting on a stool and holding a teddy bear is turned towards her. At the northern edge, the artist depicted two figures. To the south, a woman is shown in profile sitting on a chair with her legs stretched out and her hands resting on her knees. A girl, also depicted in profile, is embracing her from behind, resting her left hand on the woman's shoulder while holding a bouquet of flowers in her outstretched right hand.
The southern group has the same composition. Next to the central figure, a boy depicted from behind is standing with a table tennis bat and ball in his raised hands. To the right, a dog is watching, leaning its front paws on his thigh. At the southern edge, a pair of children represent music and dance. To the far left, a boy with body en face and head in profile is standing playing a violin. To the right of him, a girl with body en face and head turned in profile towards him is holding an unfolded scarf as she sits on a low stool with her legs stretched out.
