The mosaic composition is set in the corner of the lower part of the façade of an apartment building on Dunajská Street, close to the Prior department store. The block in which it is located, together with other structures on Dunajská, Rajská, and Cintorínska streets, forms part of the original urban layout of the square dating from the interwar period and earlier. A requirement to preserve them was included within the terms of the 1960 urban planning and architectural competition for the redesign of Kamenné Square. The aim was to ensure that these relatively new apartment blocks were "lived out" before their final demolition. They survive to this day. Unfortunately, their disjointed style creates a sense of disharmony in the urban landscape and in the overall composition of the complex.
Perhaps for this reason, in 1987 a plan was established to embellish and artistically enhance the gable wall of the apartment building with a mural – a work that has its own entry in the database. The painting was later covered up, and Fero Guldan subsequently created a wall mosaic covering a much smaller area on the same side of the façade.
The mosaic composition, in portrait-oriented rectangular format, comprises variously sized pieces of multi-coloured ceramic tile set in mortar. The artist created a fairy-tale scene that depicts a small boy at the top of a mountain who is wearing a crown and reaching with his right hand towards the moon. In both style and visual presentation, the work resembles an illustration in a children's book. Beneath the mosaic, a small, barely legible, inscription plaque from which most of the letters have fallen away bears the text:
