The polished stainless steel body of the drinking fountain stands on a cylindrical green marble base that is supported by a shallow two-tier octagonal pedestal of the same material. The body comprises a cuff that connects seamlessly to a semi-spherical bowl. The bowl is divided into two sections by a perpendicular cylindrical structure, each side of which has a water nozzle and a drainage hole. The cuff incorporates three technical elements and a water flow button. The work features no figurative components.
The stone of the base and pedestal combines with the stainless steel of the fountain body to create an appealing harmony of colours and surfaces.
The work belongs to a set of three similarly designed drinking fountains that the creators – the sculptor and designer Alexander Bilkovič and the architects Andrej Botek and Andrej Petrek – in 1988 placed on Hviezdoslav Square (two objects) and today's Velvet Revolution Square (one object).
